Our Surroundings

Just 8 miles from us, a dozen minutes by car, is the Capital City, Ascoli Piceno, "City of Hundred Towers" as it is known for its many buildings of this kind, some still standing and visible in the historical center of Roman/Medieval period.

San Benedetto del Tronto, with its fine and warm sandy beach, is known and appreciated by tourists for over a century, it can easily reach and go back to our farmhouse without traffic problems, this only occasionally, in less than 40-50 minutes by car.

In the other direction, also in this case just a 45-minute of a often panoramic road, you will find a small touristic capital of Italy: the medieval Norcia. The city of the Patron of Europe, St. Benedetto, retains intact its medieval aspect, and gave its name to the art of preserving pork meat in the most tasty way, therefore called Norcinìneria, with many shops where you can buy it and locals where to taste the recipes.
